Poorly written, keep your money and buy a different book.

This ebook does contain snippets of good information, but few for 95 pages. I imagine if you condensed this book down to the essentials there is about five to ten pages of good information. The writing is aimless and at times distracted. The book reads more like a college application essay than a professionally written book. I was very disappointed in the overall professionalism and quality of the book.

Extremely Practical

Wow! This book was an easy read with very practical advice for managing a dental office. Dr. Anzalone keeps it interesting by telling you his story and encouraging the reader to avoid his mistakes. He covers topics like hiring staff with positive attitudes, beginning a relationship with a CPA, and marketing your practice. If you get 1-2 pieces of practical advice from this book it will be well worth the price. If you get ONLY 1-2 pieces of practical advice from this book, I will be surprised.

Incredibly basic. It is a stretch to call this an actual book. It is more like a long pamphlet. Maybe 100 max. No page numbers. Would be a good read for a 4th year dental student for some very basic information. If you are already a dentist, you probably already know everything discussed in this book/pamphlet.

Best Femdom Novel Ever

By and far this is the best femdom novel I have ever seen. Lance Porter has delivered the wildest of fantasies of a sub male with a gr8 story.
If u r a sub male and you havnt red this, u will be missing a masterpiece.
Thanks Mr. Porter, hope to see a sequel of this starring none other than Jasmine as lead soon.

About the Author

Stephen Sweet is Associate Professor and Chair of Sociology at Ithaca College and formerly the associate director of the Cornell Careers Institute, a Sloan Center for the Study of Working Families. He has written a number of articles on the challenges confronting working families, focusing on the issues of concern to dual career couples across the life course. His studies have appeared in a variety of publications, including the New Directions in Life Course Research, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Marriage and the Family, Innovative Higher Education, The International Journal of Mass Emergencies and Disasters, Journal of College Student Development, and Community, Work, and Family. Stephen’s other book with SAGE is The Work-Family Interface. He has also published The Handbook of Work and Family with co-authors Marcie Pitt-Catsouphes and Ellen Ernst Kossek; �Managing Careers in the New Risk Economy, with co-investigator Phyllis Moen; College and Society: An Introduction to the Sociological Imagination, and Data Analysis with SPSS: A First Course in Applied Statistics. Stephen has been the recipient of a Sloan Officers Grant to study the effects of corporate downsizing on dual earner couples.

Peter Meiksins is a Professor of Sociology at Cleveland State University. He is the author of many articles on the sociology of work, including studies of the work experiences of engineers and part-time work in professional technical occupations and essays on labor process theory, professional work in comparative perspective, and contemporary labor relations. His work has appeared in a variety of journals, including Work and Occupations, Theory and Society, Economic and Industrial Democracy, Work, Employment and Society, and Sociological Quarterly. He is the author of Putting Work in Its Place: A Quiet Revolution (with Peter Whalley) and of Engineering Labour: Technical Workers in Comparative Perspective (with Chris Smith). Peter’s other books are Rethinking the Labor Process (with Mark Wardell and Tom Steiger) and Rising From the Ashes: Labor in the Age of Global Capitalism (with Ellen Wood and Michael Yates). He and co-investigator Peter Whalley received a major grant from the Sloan Foundation to study “Flexible Work for Technical Professionals.” Peter’s current research concerns the sociology of design work (a study of the work of graphic designers, industrial designers and interior designers). This research has been supported by a Fund for the Advancement of the Discipline grant from the American Sociological Foundation.

About the Author
Maya Angelou was raised in Stamps, Arkansas. In addition to her bestselling autobiographies, including I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings and The Heart of a Woman, she wrote numerous volumes of poetry, among them Phenomenal Woman, And Still I Rise, On the Pulse of Morning, and Mother. Maya Angelou died in 2014.

very very good

this book was like a gift from maya angelou to her readers: a little look-see into her personal world with her family, and was really interesting. this may be socially unacceptable, but i have never read "i know why the caged bird sings," or any other maya angelou work for that matter....but i think after reading this that i am going to go through and purchase everything of hers i can because she is so beautiful: in writing, in loving, in forgiveness. i learned a lot, actually, on how to forgive, after reading this book, and aspire to love as strongly as she and her mother love. i would recommend this book to anyone who didn't grow up surrounded by SUPER love because a person can learn it.

A Mother-Daughter's Love That Blossomed

At three, a child understands a wide range of emotions; may get upset at major changes in their routine, and separates easily from mom and dad. Maya Angelou and her brother, Baily, Jr. were three and five years old when their parents separated. It was painful. But they were cared for by their paternal grandmother in Arkansas. She and Baily received a generous supply of love and encouragement from their grandmother.

Ms. Angelou’s social and emotional development had changed dramatically when she and her brother were reunited with their mother ten years later. Ms. Angelou had to loosen her armor and reconnect with her mother, whom she called “Lady.”

Ms. Angelou’s mom was an unusual character to say the least. She was tough-minded, plucky, owned various undertakings, had no filter, and admitted when they were young, she had no time for infants and toddlers. Slowly, mother-daughter relationship blossomed. Although her mom was no June Cleaver (Leave it to Beaver) or Clair Olivia Huxtable (Cosby Show), she was the type that would have your back when blindsided by undesirable events.

Everything considered, from the start, this was not your typical mother-daughter relationship. Yet, over the years evolved a healthy, loving, and meaningful bond between Ms. Angelou and her mother.

Two Remarkable Women

Written in Angelou's familiar, enticing voice, this portrait of a long and interesting mother/daughter relationship is refreshingly free of blame, filled with insights, and marked by love that hides nothing. Well, very little! We are so used to finding in our parents the reasons for our weaknesses and, as parents, finding in our children reflections of our own or our partner's failings, that breaking free of these expectations is by itself freeing. But it's only a first step if we are really to connect, human to human. Angelou learned to see her mother for what she was, and to acknowledge her as, yes, the source of strength and also the source of pain. With love.

This book fills some blank spots in I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, but it also is a moving portrait on its own terms.

The title is odd: Angelou apparently never called her mother "Mom," but "Mother" or "Lady." I believe it to indicate a spotlight on a kind of relationship.

An ordinary life in extraordinary times

I was captivated by this presentation of the diaries of Nina Lugovskaya and recommend it to anyone moved by the affect of cataclysm on deeply human lives.

Nina's words create the longing for the impossible �- wanting to meet the person at the centre of it all and wanting to know, wanting to feel, what her life was really like. How do you live a prosaic life in the midst of tumult? A life both 'ordinary' and 'extraordinary' at the same time - a fate shared then as now - by unknown millions. How do such situations come to exist, how do they come to warp the concerns of daily life?

These questions remain vital for the world today. Think Iraq; Zimbabwe; North Korea; Chechnya; choose your country.

The only qualifiers in works such as `I Want to Live' are the invisible hand of the editor - how much of the diary has been edited out? The reader may never know. The unnecessary value judgements of Nina's opinions included in some footnotes to chapters(how does this serve the author or the reader at all?) and the use of a colloquial style of translation, with cliched, TV expressions like - `anytime soon' - words that Nina herself would never have used. These things serve to degrade the reader's experience.

An interesting feature of the diary is how Nina, especially for such a young person, seemingly knew about events in the Soviet Union that apparently she `shouldn't have' - could it be that the Soviet people knew more about the dreadful things happening in their society than western commentators give credence? Perhaps.

In any case, `Bravo Lugovskaya!' a spirited `ordinary' life lived in sad and troubled times.

a bird longing for freedom in a cage of repression

The diary of a sensitive, intelligent and moody young girl against the backdrop of the purges and and politicide of Stalinist Russia.
This book like The Diary of Anne Frank and the Diary of Eva Heyman (both child victims of the Nazi Holocaust) tells of the life through the eyes innocent young girl at a time of totalitarian terror and mass murder.
Nina mainly talks of boys, her friends, her moods, her family and her own angst.
But given the fact that her father had been a Social Revolutionary ( a party opposed to the Bolsheviks) and is now imprisoned for being a 'counterrevolutionary', anything Nina wrote when the diary was seized by the NKVD and Nina and her family arrested and deported to a labour camp can be charged with being counterrevolutionary, under the sick system of communist dictatorship.

What we get a picture of is a magnificent young writer, a deeply intelligent girl with an eye for detail and analysis of her friends and family and a time and place where humanity is under the jackboot of a cruel ideology and the degenerates who inevitably rise to positions of power under such a system.
She reveals the peculiarities and personalities of the people who live with her and wher firends at school, her budding sexuality and her intellectual development
Inevitably she would write of her hatred for such a system as any intelligent person of substance would think like her.

In need of a thorough revision because it doesn't take into account the recent spelling changes and changes in usage over the past 10 and more years. The grammar summaries are well organized and useful. If you need a place to quickly look up German grammar, the second half of the book is excellent.

Great for reading Practice

The book is broken down into 20 lessons, the first 16 all include vocabulary at the onset of the lesson as well as a translation and pronunciation guide. The last 4 lessons are purely in the German, relying on what you have already learned. There are notes for all lessons explaining various points from grammar to idiomatic expressions. It also includes a good grammar and glossary at the back of the book. The one downside to this book is the dated language, much if not most of it is still useable to this day though so it is not to bad of a downside. Overall a great buy.

About the Author
James McCord is an experienced trial attorney in criminal law, professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School, and a member of the Wisconsin and Kentucky Bar Associations. A frequent speaker at legal conferences, he is the author of several books and articles on the paralegal profession and practice. Professor McCord is a past president of the American Association for Paralegal Education, a former member of the American Bar Association Legal Assistant Program Approval Commission, and included in "Who's Who in Law."

Excellent textbook

I thought this was a really good book for my paralegal class on litigation. Well written and informative. I can see going back and reviewing information when I am done with school.

I love this option and it should be a serious consideration ...

I'm using this for a class right now. It was the least expensive option I found. I have downloaded the kindle reader on my iPad mini and use that in place of a bulky book when I attend. I can pull it up on any PC (after downloading the Kindle reader) and it remembers my highlights and bookmarks. I can always pick up where I left off on any device. I love this option and it should be a serious consideration for all students.

Great, informative, book, awesome examples too!

This book has a lot.of sample . templates that are really good to reference. They tend to be federal examples though, buy that's probably because federal is the same everywhere. Lots of amazing information presented in simple wording so it doesn't get too confusing like a lot of other law books. And despite the title, it's actually a pretty jnteresting, engaging book!
