Old but not outdated

While this book is 26 years old, its words are still relevant today. I like how the book gives a history of the suicide survivor experiences while offering valuable insights for the griever and professional. The book discusses suicide loss from various perspectives such as the the loss of a husband in "When One of Us Is Gone," to the loss of a brother in "My Brother Tim and Me," as well as a chapter about coping with the loss of a therapist to suicide. The book also includes a chapter by Iris Bolton, the author of "My Son My Son." I highly recommend this for any mental health professionals who provide services to those grieved by suicide. It is also a helpful resource for survivors themselves who are coping with the loss of a loved one.
